Whoever thinks of Dubai immediately has desert heat in mind. Merciless sun and air conditioning set to “frost”.

But which is true? When is it best to visit the city on the Gulf?

The UAE (United Arab Emirates) is an attractive, sun-safe destination year-round.

The best time to travel is between October and April, when daytime temperatures are very pleasant, ranging from early 20°C to 30°C.

Between April and September, the thermometer can climb to over 40°C. Air conditioning and light breezes from the sea pleasantly alleviate the heat.

Rainy days are rare in the desert state. The annual precipitation often pours down in just a few heavy showers in winter.
